Tarmac is a free nine-month acceleration program focused on fostering tech solutions that address social and environmental issues in Austin’s growing social innovation ecosystem. Tarmac is backed by 3M and San Francisco-based nonprofit CALSO.
Last night, Tarmac TX hosted a welcome party at Galvanize for their 2017 cohort. Think and Zoom founder Zuby Onwuta was one of the Tarmac companies to pitch to the audience, which gave insight into what’s to come from the Tarmac community.
Think and Zoom is an innovative technology solution for the visually impaired, a community of 285 million people worldwide including 10+ million Americans. Think and Zoom uses Google Glass technology to create a hands-free, visual magnification powered by the human mind.
