SoGal Launches in Dallas with Female Funders Panel

SoGal, a network of diverse entrepreneurs and investors, is expanding its reach into the metroplex, kicking off with a discussion among female funders.

The organization is hosting a panel at 5:30 p.m. on February 6 at the Dallas location of Capital FactoryPanelists include Elizabeth Galbut, Founding Partner at SoGal Ventures, Inobat Igamberdieva, Principal at Interlock Partners, Samantha Colletti, Senior Vice President at Silicon Valley Bank and will be moderated by Monica Kozy, Head of BD at Delta-v Capital.

“Lack of networks is a core reason for the gender gap in entrepreneurship and venture funding today,” Kozy said in an email. “By building the SoGal ecosystem locally and connecting our members to the global network, I’m hopeful we can help bridge the gap for our community.”

SoGal Ventures has invested in more than 50 companies, including personalized hair care line Function of Beauty and Austin’s EverlyWell.
